By entering the site, using the API, or acquiring $NRG, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer in full, and that you are acting on your own judgment and at your own risk. If you do not accept it, your only remedy is to not use Energon.

Experimental software, provided as-is

Energon is experimental software provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uptime, accuracy of model outputs, or non-infringement. It may be interrupted, degraded, changed, or discontinued at any time, without notice and without compensation. No service level is promised to anyone.

Not financial, legal, or tax advice

Nothing on this site, in the docs, in the app, or in any Energon communication is investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, legal advice, or tax advice. No statement here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Do your own research and consult qualified professionals before making any financial decision.

High risk — total loss is possible

$NRG is a highly volatile, experimental digital asset with thin liquidity. Its price can and may go to zero. You can lose the entire amount you put in, permanently. Digital-asset markets are subject to extreme volatility, manipulation, and sudden illiquidity. Never commit money you cannot afford to lose completely.

$NRG is not an investment and confers no rights

$NRG is not offered or sold as an investment, security, share, bond, note, or financial instrument of any kind. Holding $NRG grants no rights whatsoever: no equity or ownership in anything, no dividends, no revenue share, no governance, no redemption right, no claim against the operator, the reserve, or any other person or asset. Its only on-chain mechanics are the swap fee, the automatic buy-and-burn, and the reserve split described in the docs. Nothing on this site should be read as promising profit from anyone's efforts.

The Engy reserve is operator-custodied

Bittensor has no smart contracts, so the Engy reserve cannot be a trustless vault. It is a staked SN53 position held at a Bittensor coldkey controlled by the operator. The coldkey is published so anyone can watch the reserve live on-chain — that is transparency, not trustlessness. You are trusting the operator's key management and honesty.

The reserve is not a redeemable claim: $NRG cannot be exchanged for any part of it, and no "backing," "floor," or minimum value is promised. Any implied floor starts near zero and is never a guaranteed price. The reserve can lose value or be lost entirely — through SN53/alpha price decline, subnet failure or deregistration, key compromise, bridge failure, or operator error.

Smart-contract risk

The $NRG token and its Uniswap V4 hook are immutable smart contracts. They have been tested and reviewed, but audits and tests are not guarantees. Contracts can contain undiscovered bugs; the chain, the DEX, or their infrastructure can fail or behave unexpectedly; and because the contracts are immutable, defects cannot be patched after deployment. Interacting with any smart contract can result in total loss.

Bridge and keeper risk

The reserve leg depends on one operator periodically moving funds across third-party bridges from Robinhood Chain toward Bittensor. Bridges get exploited, halt, and lose funds; keepers stall, make mistakes, or stop. Only the on-chain buy-and-burn is permissionless and independent of the operator. The reserve top-up is not.

Verified, not private

Energon inference is verified — the Engy network checks which open model served a request — but it is not confidential. Prompts and outputs pass through independent third-party miners and are not encrypted end-to-end, not processed in trusted hardware (no TEE), and not hidden from the parties serving them. Do not submit passwords, keys, personal data, confidential business information, or anything you need kept secret. If you require confidential inference, do not use Energon.

No affiliation or endorsement

Energon is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Engy, Algod Trading, the Opentensor Foundation, Bittensor, Robinhood Markets or Robinhood Chain, Paxos, Circle, or Uniswap Labs — or any of their products. All names, marks, and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what Energon builds on. Any statement claiming such an affiliation is false.

Regulatory status and eligibility

The legal treatment of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and changes frequently. You are solely responsible for determining whether accessing this site, using the API, or acquiring $NRG is lawful where you live, and for any taxes or reporting that result. Do not use Energon if you are in a jurisdiction where doing so is restricted or prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions. Nothing here is an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful.

An experiment, not a product promise

Energon is a parody-adjacent economic experiment. There is no company standing behind it, no roadmap owed to anyone, and no promise of continued development, listing, liquidity, or support. It may be paused or abandoned at any time. Treat everything here as an experiment you chose to observe or participate in — not a product you purchased.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors of Energon shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost tokens, or lost data — arising from or related to the use of the site, the API, the contracts, or $NRG, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using Energon.

Changes to this notice

This disclaimer may be updated at any time; the effective date above changes when it is. The current version is always at this URL. Continued use of Energon after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
